Dear Sweetheart,

Well dear how are you today?

A not too interesting a day. Went to a suburb of Wiesbaden this morning in search of some special paper and didn't get it there, but now know where I can get it.

This afternoon made complete arrangements with a factory for the regumming of the rollers of our presses. Almost 120 rollers - a big job. They will use BUNA - that substitute rubber. Did we invent it during the war or no? Anyway this man has six tons and our job will be done as quickly as possible.

Berlin, one of the fellows who works in this office, a former English teacher in the N.Y. school system gave me the pictures he took of me, and I am enclosing them. Quite a nice fellow, a tch. sgt. Rather pedantic though, but still a nice fellow to get along with and be friendly with.

So another day and soon I shall return to my quarters- it is now 8:45 (I came back here after to chow to chat with Dave Hughes)

Taking good care of yourself off of our cloud, aren't you dear? Better because you have a husband who is body and soul in love with you and is always

Your devoted husband,
Dolph

P.S. This job at the original classification CAF 13 will pay for 44 hrs. a week (4 hours over time) 8100 dollars a year - all told. That is really something. Now of course is the actual setting up of this job and what they actually will pay.
