Dear Sweetheart,

Well dear, I spoke to Mother & Chas. this afternoon and found out that you are on your way to N.Y. for Marion's graduation. Also learned that what is what with you as regards the WAVES is still undecided. Naturally I am very anxious to learn the outcome.

Nothing new as regards the civilianization of this job, its still up in Berlin, so I understand, and I imagine some time this month it ought to be straightened out.

I hope you were able to see Monty - that is, he arrived in N.Y. in time. He is a great fellow and naturally I hope he is taking this situation as regards Muriel all right.

You know this rating which they gave the present job I am doing is really a high one, for I learned that a CAF 15 has to be approved by Congress and the one the office down here gave it is CAF 13 $8100 a year (including everything) is a lot of money, but so long as the job pays more than $5000 a year I think we'll be doing all right. The important thing though is having you with me. No job is worth a thing to me if you aren't with me Jeandear. I love you so much, I am just nothing when I haven't you with me.

So honey please keep on taking good care of yourself and know that I am always and in all ways

Your devoted husband,
Dolph
