Still at Sea.

Sweetheart —

There has been some confusion in our minds as to whether we can or can't pay we use at sea. The consensus is we can. My 3rd + 4th letters were also written while at sea.

Of course the only thing which is on our minds is the water ergo we just don't feel too hot. Maybe it's just as well I didn't join the Navy!

It's amazing — this business of crossing the ocean; if only it were in the other direction.

We have one fellow in the stateroom with us who is quite a character. His latest is, apropos of nothing "Free Garfinkle"

I met a fellow aboard — a dentist, who was a classmate of mine. Nice to see him.

I've been eating all the meals & having a tolerable time. But —— will be very very glad when we land.

Nice bunch of fellows in my stateroom — more glad I'm an officer on this trip.

Shall go to the movie to-night — hope it's a comedy.

Your devoted husband
Dolph.
