Dear Sweetheart,

At last mail has come in. I received your 23, 26, 28 and 30 April letters, with Janice's enclosed in the 26th letter.

You know I just don't know how to tell you just what I am going through here trying to get home before I civilianize. I have been broken up so much trying to swing things, and if the Capt. who is the section head, were any kind of a man there wouldn't be any question. Now he has to go home. He can't stay any longer than the middle of June. He wont stay till I come back. Of course he could have left in December, but now he has to go. I am working on it dear just as hard as I can.

Its just because I love you so much Jeandear. I miss you so very very much that I can't think straight. When I go to bed at night its JeanJeanJeanJean. I want you with me so badly.

I am very glad you went to Saratoga and then Albany. Just keep yourself busy dear and lets try not to think about our being deparated. If that were only possible.

I may chuck the whole blamed thing.

I hope you are well honey. You are the most important aspect of my life.

I shall see the Col. to-morrow and then shall know better though he is not the last word. It has to go to Berlin.

Please take good care of yourself dear and know that I love you love you beyond everything.

Your devoted husband,

Dolph
