Dear Sweetheart -

Was in Paris & slept over going back this afternoon.

The weather was cold & current & consequently I went to the movies in the afternoon – what a treat – Laurence Olivier in Henry V – Shakespeare – at its best. It was sumptuous, superb – I recommend it very very strongly.

In the evening I went to the Ballet & saw Jester, A Series of Dances (Chopin's music), Impressions of a Music Hall & Two Pigeons. I just Mother the program dear, as I have never done so before & I thought she might like to have it.

The performance, on the whole, wasn't quite up to par, but the children performed in A Series of Dances & Impressions of a Music Hall – they were wonderful.

There isn't much of anything going on. Can't understand why I haven't been assigned. Shall wait a few more days & then ask questions.

I love you so much honey & as each day passes into the next I find my love for you is deeper & deeper. I miss you more than words can say.

Your devoted husband,
Dolph

Just cause I love you so much – and I love you – I mailed you a lovely pair of suede gloves – size 6½ because they run larger. These gloves are washable too honey. I hope you like them.
