Dear Sweetheart -

How do you like my new stationery? I took one of the boys from the office to Hanau - 15 kilometers (16 kilometers equals 10 miles) to an outfit which is going home. I even felt good just being in that atmosphere - going home. Sure enough I met an old friend - from the hospital - who is going home - lucky fellow!

Nothing much of anything going on. I'm kept busy & that's what's good for me, but I sure wish the mail situation would improve. Three letters from you in one day was swell - but I'll settle for two each day.

Tomorrow night I shall see a play, in german, Eine Kleine Stadt (Our Town). Right now I am reveling in listening to a radio one of the fellows lent me. Don't know precisely how long I can keep it, but he works in my office - a G.I. - & his roommate has one so as long as he is here, or until he is civilianed I can have it. Sure am grateful.

It's pretty slushy outside - very funny weather here.

I hope you are well honey & taking good care of yourself. You are the light of my life & I am always in all ways

Your devoted husband
Dolph

Am enclosing a letter to Lois.
