Dear Sweetheart,

How are you honey.

I still hear you say you love me. I always do and that keeps me going. I am so very much in love with you Jeandear.

You mentioned last night - it was night here dear - that you didn't like the pictures of the painting. I quite agree with you dear. And the reason the pictures aren't good, is because the lighting is poor. Which of course points up the fact that when you hang it, it must be done just so. Another thing I wish to point out, is that I think its a very fine picture rather painting, but you have to look at it. A simple glance isn't enough. And of course it must not be hung in the direct rays of the sun. When it does arrive you will need two men to carry it. It weighs 68 pounds, but its bulky. Naturally I am anxious to know when it arrives.

I keep myself quite busy and so the time goes, but never fast enough.

When I came back to the office this afternoon there were two letters from you. Happy day. They were 31 March and 2 April.

Reveille is Always. From what you had to say it was not quite effective enough for Broadway. Too bad, but if the "message" is not handled properly why the net effect is worse than if nothing were said, so maybe its just as well.

I don't understand why you have to go to the MRD&O for if your books didn't balance, how did they let you go?

So you don't want to live in New York. I know how you feel dear, and I sincerely hope that when I get back to the states it will be possible for us to reside elsewhere. As a matter of fact, the only determining factor, as I see it, is that our home will have to have some relationship to whatever work I do. Now if I have to go into some kind of a business why it will just be that we shall have to be in some city, but otherwise — well we'll see honey. But know that I am just as anxious as you are to have a home that is among the trees and grass.

I hope you are feeling all right honey. Lonesome I know - we both are terribly so. Certainly it shant be much longer.

I have a new address as OMG U.S. Zone is no more. Still in the same building.
