Dear Sweetheart —
Well here I am back in Frankfurt.
The net result of my trip was that I have started this civilianization moving. By God it shouldn't take long now!
When I arrived there was beaucoup mail — 5 letters — 12, 13, 15, 16 + 17 Apr., a telegram from you, + the record. The record is a lovely present honey + thank you so very much. And your telegram was lovely dear.
I am so anxious to receive pictures

of you in your civilian clothes. I hope you take pictures of yourself in all the different ensembles you have. You sure must be sweet looking + delectable honey — you sound that way in your record + I know, I know you sweetness. I love you so very much.
Quite a bit of work to get yourself outfitted, isn't it.
As regards my painting when you are over, I don't know where you can store it. Maybe mother will hold it for us? Certainly use that case I mailed it in, if you put it in a regular storage house.

As regards the fur over, it seems I was wrong, + the gov't will pay.
As for as you working over here — well see — in time you will probably want to — but first I want you completely + solely occupied with just me.
What do you think of Ro men?
I came back by train. Two to a compartment! Quite comfortable. Now I shall go to bed early as I'm rather tired.
I hope you are all right honey. Keep your chin up + know that always in
