Dolph's Letter #34

Dear Sweetheart —

What are you doing dear? Are you all right?

Lounging around — reminds me of ... a escapé — to "escape liquids" Well maybe I'm one + it's just as well. Loafing — reading or trying to find something worthwhile to read while all the time my thoughts are of you. You whom I live for — you whom I love.

Saw a stanza from one of Shelley's Songs.

'I love Love — though he has wings
And like light can flee,
But above all the rest
Than art love + life!'

Well sweet — this war can't go on + on. it ain't. I fancy it will be soon over, for I wish more than anything to clasp you in my arms + tell you, in person I love you.

Your devoted husband,
Dolph
