Dolph's Letter #33
Dear Sweetheart —
How are you dear? How are things going?
Went to the movies last night + saw Mac Laine — enjoyed it very much.
Also I went to the Doc + had my arm dressed. Saw him today + I shall go back the 22nd. O.K. with me. This taking it easy agrees with me.
It's cloudy today — feels like rain, so I went to the supply room + got myself a raincoat, just in case.
We listen to the A.E.F. programs from morning to night broadcast over the B.B.C. Good to listen to music. Of course there are rather frequent news broadcasts which we avidly follow. There is a lot of play up that this war will be over soon — today is none to soon.
Oh yes — I played a little poker after the movies last night + won 35 Francs! It was enjoyable.
And so it goes — this isn't a tough war front back here.
I hope you are well dear + busy. It's so very important. I love you so much + am so proud of my wife. I am so lucky.
Please take good care of yourself —
Your devoted husband,
Dolph
You are in my thoughts constantly
