Convalescent Hospital, France
Dolph's Letter #38

Dear Sweetheart —

Well another day nearer to the end of the war + another step nearer our reunion.

The weather isn't nice at all — hope it doesn't interfere with operations — the news is good.

Not much going on, as per usual. Ran out of stationery + not allowed to buy in the Px till to-morrow therefore this paper.

I'm sure I've written more than 38 letters — but when I lost my stationery I lost the count.

Everything all right dear?

My arm doesn't bother me — coming along very nicely

This place just isn't exciting at all — very quiet, so I'm reading — that's all — getting lazy I guess.

Well dear I hope you are well + taking good care of yourself. I'm not living at all — I exist in a vacuum — without you. I love you so very much.

Your devoted husband
Dolph.
