Air Mail Stationery — Germany Dolph's Letter #45

Dear Sweetheart —

How are you dear? Everything going along all right?

Now I can tell you that — if you can find it on the map — the place where I was shot was in a woods somewhat east of a place called Wadern. Of course I can never forget it, but I'm perfectly well now.

Now of course I'm getting into this "repple depple" system & really have no idea when I shall catch up with my outfit.

Living accommodations here aren't bad at all — so with censoring & teaching I'm sure I shall be getting along all right.

Have I told you I miss you dear? You know, as much as I try to eradicate my sense of loneliness I am not successful. You are with me constantly & it's that feeling which makes the difference — I am not really lonely.

Please take care of yourself, sweet — I love you so much.

Your devoted husband, Dolph
