Germany Dolph's Letter #54

Dear Sweetheart —

How are you today? Everything all right?

There is going to be a memorial service for the President. Apropos of the President — how he is regarded — just the other day I saw another convoy of Frenchmen who had just been released + scrawled on the trucks "Thank you Mr. Roosevelt." It touched me.

The weather isn't too bad. even though the sun isn't out. Am kept busy so the time passes + it isn't a tough war back here where I am.

I sure hope you are well my dear. The news sounds good + maybe it won't be too long before we are reunited. I love you so much.

Your devoted husband, Dolph
