Dolph's Letter #85

Dear Sweetheart -

How is my honey today?

Gee it's warm here. Glad of the change.

Well the generator finally worked last night + I was able to hear part of the celebration in London + Moscow. I don't know if the States shortwaved a victory celebration for I didn't hear anything.

How did you celebrate?

Boy how I'd love to be home - with you. Each day + night it is my prayer. You are the only one who makes sense to me. I want you so much.

I hope you are receiving my mail. If only yours would come through.

Still busy with the athletic field - something to do.

Funny thing happened last night. After listening to the celebration via the radio - nothing much being done here - + working, I went to my tent about 2230 + lo + behold there was another pkg. Same postmark as yours - 15 Feb - from Ethel. It was a delicious cake, + believe it or not it was still fresh + unbroken. Shall write + thank her.

Well my sweet, please take good care of yourself. Don't be distressed about your mail not reaching me, as yet. It will + I hope very soon.

I love you darling. Love you so much.

Your devoted husband,
Dolph
