Dear Sweetheart -

Received some mail today, but unfortunately none came through from you. This blasted mail situation. Monty 17 Nov. Mother 21 Nov. & Sylvan 28 Nov.! Also a pkg from Mother & my notes from way way back.

Mother says you heard from Davey Wolf's brother that all men with 3 years service will be eligible Jan. 15. Officers?

I sure would like to know how you are dear. I hope you are receiving my mail.

I shall spend my evening writing answers to the letters I received today, & then to bed.

To think we both have to go to bed 3-4000 miles apart. That's too far.

Oh how I'd love to make love to you. I am so completely head over heels in love with you it hurts.

You are so adorable, every inch of you is precious to me. More & more, deeper & deeper I love you dear wife.

I hope you are feeling all right & everything is going okay all right.

Your devoted husband,
Dolph.
