Idea while on Duty
I think the walls of our house home should have removable panels on the inside, which have nothing to do with the exterior walls (which incidentally should not hold up the roof, rather use a cantilever beam or two for that & so need not be too thick.).
These panels must be suitable for murals to be painted on them & to be removed so that new murals can be painted and/or suitable for wall paper and/or a textile with a fine design or just a rich color. Thus we can change our home whenever we wished to. The partitions, too, shall be able to be removed — say to join the living room & dining room.
